Melissa Beiseigel MA LPC

Melissa completed her Master of Arts in Counseling at Texas Wesleyan University and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Melissa has worked with adolescents and adults. She brings a compassionate, client-centered style to her work, believing that every person has unique strengths and inner resources that can be nurtured through the therapeutic process.

Her primary approaches—Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)—allow her to tailor each session to meet clients exactly where they are. She knows that no two people’s experiences are the same, and she believes in meeting every client exactly where they are. Her experience comes from counseling clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and various other mental illnesses.

As someone deeply committed to inclusivity, Melissa is especially passionate about supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and those living with chronic health conditions. She understands how isolating these experiences can be and strives to offer a space where clients can feel truly seen and understood.

At the heart of Melissa’s work is her commitment to providing a safe, judgment-free environment where clients can explore their vulnerabilities, discover their strengths, and take meaningful steps toward healing and mental wellness. Her goal is to walk alongside each client—offering empathy, encouragement, and practical tools—as they create the change they want to see in their lives.

In her downtime, Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband and their pets, wrangling their toddler, playing board games, reading fantasy, and catching up on their favorite tv shows.
