Kristin Stelzer MS LPC - Associate Supervised by Jeffrey Gallup, MA LPC-S NCC CFMHE

Kristin completed her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Tarleton State University and received licensure in 2023 as an LPC-Associate. She is a culturally-sensitive therapist who practices from a client-centered, cognitive-behavioral therapy approach. It is her aim that you feel fully respected and accepted within the counseling relationship and work collaboratively toward your or your child’s goals. Prior to joining Mansfield Counseling, Kristin gained substantial experience in animal-assisted, equine-assisted, and child-centered play therapies. Her clinical background includes working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of treatment areas, including anxiety and depressive disorders, relationship and adjustment issues, grief, and trauma. She is passionate about women's issues, including maternal mental health and infertility. She has additional specialized training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. 

In her spare time, Kristin enjoys time with friends and family, Rangers baseball, playing trivia, stand-up comedy shows, discovering new music, and baking. She travels to one new place each year with her husband and son.
