Rachel Slack MA LPC NCC
Senior Clinician & Operations Manager
Rachel Slack, MA, LPC, NCC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been with Mansfield Counseling since 2018. She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University. Rachel is also nationally board-certified and brings years of experience working with individuals and families across the lifespan.
Rachel is passionate about creating a safe, comfortable space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. She works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, body image concerns, and other life stressors, and she also enjoys helping couples and families improve communication, work through conflict, and strengthen their relationships.
She believes each person has inherent worth and unique strengths, even in seasons when it’s hard to see them. Rachel helps clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, challenge negative self-talk, and develop practical and flexible tools to create meaningful, lasting change. Her style is compassionate, intentional, and down-to-earth, blending insight, encouragement, and a bit of humor to help clients feel at ease from the very first session.
Outside of work, Rachel loves spending time with her husband, helping lead their church life group, going on walks with their black lab Sirius (a proud Harry Potter nerd!), and grabbing coffee or food with friends!
