Jeffrey S Gallup MA LPC-S NCC CFMHE
Practice Owner
Since establishing his practice, Jeff has worked with clients across Texas, serving individuals from diverse backgrounds and across the lifespan. His clinical experience includes supporting clients involved in court proceedings as well as those navigating mood and anxiety disorders, complex diagnostic questions, and significant life transitions. Over the course of his career, he has conducted more than 1,200 diagnostic evaluations and comprehensive assessments. This depth of experience allows him to identify clinical concerns with precision, communicate findings clearly, and help clients understand both their current functioning and the practical steps needed to move toward meaningful change. His work is grounded in objectivity, clinical rigor, and a commitment to providing a safe, respectful, and judgment-free environment.
Jeff’s professional foundation reflects both academic preparation and advanced specialization. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and his Master’s degree in Counseling from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor–Supervisor (LPC-S), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator (CFMHE). His expertise in assessment and forensic mental health has extended beyond direct clinical services; he has presented workshops and trainings at national, state, regional, and local levels, contributing to the development of other professionals in areas related to diagnostic assessment, ethics, and forensic practice.
At the core of Jeff’s work is a focus on durable, sustainable growth. He approaches therapy and assessment with the belief that progress occurs at an individualized pace and that clients benefit from both clinical clarity and collaborative support. His sessions are designed to foster resilience, insight, and practical problem-solving, while maintaining high standards of professional integrity. In parallel with his clinical work, he remains actively engaged in strengthening and expanding Mansfield Counseling’s services to meet the evolving needs of the community.
Outside of his professional responsibilities, Jeff enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking and backpacking, reading, playing video games, and cooking or baking for his family. He especially values time with his wife and two adult children.
Jeff maintains active membership in the American Counseling Association, the American Mental Health Counselors Association, the Association for Assessment and Research in Counseling, the National Board for Certified Counselors, the Texas Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, the Texas Counseling Association, and the Texas Mental Health Counselors Association, where he has served as a Board Member (2023–2024).
