Jeffrey S Gallup MA LPC-S NCC CFMHE
Practice Owner
“Seeking help can be a challenging first step, and I'm glad you decided to take it.”
Since beginning his practice, Jeff has had the privilege of working with clients across Texas, supporting individuals of all ages and backgrounds. His experience includes working with clients involved in court proceedings, as well as those navigating internal challenges such as depression and anxiety, or external stressors like major life transitions. Over the course of his career, Jeff has completed more than 1,200 diagnostic evaluations and assessments, giving him the expertise to accurately identify clinical concerns and help clients understand where they are, where they want to be, and the steps needed to move forward—always within a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment.
Jeff’s professional foundation is rooted in a strong academic and training background. He holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Counseling from Stephen F. Austin State University. He has also completed extensive advanced training as a Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator (CFMHE), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S). Jeff has used this expertise not only in his clinical practice but also to help develop other professionals through workshops, seminars, and trainings on assessment and forensic topics at national, state, regional, and local levels.
What truly defines Jeff’s approach, however, is his commitment to meaningful, sustainable change. He believes that growth happens at each individual’s pace and that no one should feel they have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Jeff strives to create sessions that promote resilience, clarity, and inner strength, while continuously enhancing Mansfield Counseling’s services to meet clients’ evolving needs.
Outside of his work with clients and associates, Jeff enjoys exploring the outdoors, playing video games, reading, hiking and backpacking, and cooking or baking for his family. Above all, he values spending time with his wife and two adult children.
